We are still busy preparing for the upcoming events during the Field Trials and all the events that will be held here at the museum. We are looking forward to all the people coming for each event, whether it be with the Spaniel events, Hall of Fame events, Field Trial events, AKC events and all others we are truly looking forward to each one. We are especially looking forward to meeting some new friends and welcoming our old friends. It is some happy times during the cold months that warm us on the inside.

We are also pleased the receive a generous donation of German Wirehaired Pointer history from Dr. Genevieve Capstaff of Orland Park, IL. It is a data disk  CD disk containing 1,086 images, meticulously documented and copied by Mr. Jim Isom of Aimn' Hi Kennel, Grand Chain, IL contains GWP books #1, 2 and 3 of original correspondence and Registration of Foundation Stock for Acceptance by The AKC in 1959. It is available to view in the William F. Brown Memorial Library at the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand Junction, Tennessee. We are very proud to have this addition in the library.

We will also have a silent auction during the Events in February. We are taking donations for that now and hope that each one of you will visit that while you are here and maybe make some bids. We had some very nice items last year thanks to all of our donors and hope for the same this year. Thank You to all who helped out donating and bidding.
