Macoupin County Field Trial Club
The first walking trial of the spring season resulted in a full day of running.
The Shooting Dog had six braces and was won by Go Illini Butch with two good forward finds and a strong race. Second was Silver Star with two finds and a good race. Joe River had one find and a race with a good finish for third.
The Derby winner was Valiant Lady with one broke find and a consistent race. Second went to Cooper with one Derby find and a classy race. Third was Buck with a divided find, a stop to flush and a classy race.
The Shooting Dog was easily won by Bob with two classy finds, a back and strong finish. Second was Bud with three finds and a short classy race. Third went to a different Bud with a good race.
