Mississippi Open Shooting Dog Championship

Holly Springs, Miss. — The Mississippi Open Shooting Dog Championship has drawn 53 entries under the watchful eyes of Judges Doug Meyer of Tonganoxie, Kan., and Edmond James of Collierville, Tenn. The stake will showcase 10 setters and 43 pointers under the whistles of two amateur and seven professional handlers.

The trial is being held on Hendrix Farms south of Holly Springs, Miss.  Barring any weather delays, the trial is expected to be concluded on Sunday, January 13.
