The new field trial season has kicked off and is now in full swing.

The Amateur Invitationals — All-Age and Shooting Dog — will be here before you know it. The National Amateur All-Age Invitational Championship is scheduled to begin December 9 at Ames Plantation, Grand Junction, Tenn. The National Amateur Shooting Dog Invitational Championship will begin December 12 at Round Pond Plantation in Leslie, Ga.

The Invitational points standings for the 2018-2019 season have been up on the AFTCA website throughout last season and over the summer. Please look over your dog’s points before October 4, 2019. At that time last year’s points will no longer appear and the 2019-2020 points will begin to calculate.

If you have any questions please contact me at (662) 223-0126 or piper.huffman@aim.com.

More information regarding these Championships will be forthcoming in a few weeks.

The top twelve points-earners (dogs) for the All-Age and the Shooting Dog Invitational Championships will receive invitations by mail in mid-October.

Best of luck to everyone throughout the field trial season.
