Alabama Open Championship

Blue Mountain, Miss. — Thirty-one dogs were drawn for the Alabama Open All-Age Championship held at the Hell Creek Wildlife Management Area near Blue Mountain, Miss. Earning the championship title was Skyfall, six-year-old white and liver pointer male owned by Bob Walthall and Thorpe McKenzie of Tallahassee, Fla., and handled by Steve Hurdle. Lester’s Jazz Man, six-year-old white and orange pointer male owned by Dan Hensley of Claremore, Okla., and handled by Randy Anderson, earned runner-up.

In the judicial saddles were Mike Jackson of Battle Ground, Ind., and Mike Small of Evansville, Ind.
