All-America Championships

Pinckneyville, Ill. — The All-America Championships began March 8 at Pyramid State Park Recreation Area, Pinckneyville, Ill. Judges for both stakes were Joe Hughes of Locust Fork, Ala., and Scott Little of Woodlawn, Tenn.

Topping the field of 18 entries in the All-America Quail Championship was Dominator’s Rebel Heir, coming six-year-old white and liver pointer male owned by Jim Hamilton of Atlanta, Ga., and handled by Jamie Daniels. Former two-time National Champion Lester’s Sunny Hill Jo, six-year-old white and orange pointer male owned by David Thompson of Edmonton, Ky., and Gary Lester of Gracey, Ky., and handled by Gary Lester, was named runner-up.

In the 20-dog All-America Derby Championship, Dominator’s Rebel Squire, pointer male owned by Jim Hamilton and Fields Norris and handled by Jamie Daniels, earned the championship title. Runner-up was Lester’s Shockwave, pointer male owned and handled by Gary Lester.
