All-Japan Open Shooting Dog Championship

Shizuoka Pref. — The All-Japan Open Shooting Dog Championship was held December 8 in Tenryu River Field, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

The weather was favorable and the  grounds were in fairly good condition, but there was some breeze.

Una Amica, white and liver pointer female owned and handled by   Yoshiyuki Nagase, won first with birds pointed four times. Mashu Elhew Romee,  white and orange pointer female  owned and handled by Junji Ishiguro, was awarded  second.

The judges, Kiyokazu Katada and Satoshi Kobayashi, determined that  the champion title be withheld.

2d—MASHU ELHEW ROMEE, 1661799, pointer female, by East Coast Pete—Bosohachiman Guard Rail Berry. Junji Ishiguro, owner and handler.
