Arizona Open Shooting Dog Championship

Kingman, Ariz. — The Arizona Championship series concluded February 15. We want to thank Purina for their support, all of the participants, our judges and crew.

Congratulations to the winners!

Topping the field of ten entries in the Region 12 Amateur All-Age Championship was Almosta’s Mighty Mouse, pointer female owned and handled by John Beauchamp of Payson, Ariz. Named runner-up was Almosta’s Wile E Coyote, pointer male owned and handled by John Beauchamp.

The judges were Joey Rogers and Kevin Rogers, both of Vail, Ariz.

Winning the Region 12 Amateur  Shooting Dog Championship (13 entries) was Almosta’s Wile E Coyote, pointer male owned and handled by John Beauchamp. Traveler’s Prairie Souix, setter female owned and handled by Greg Sand of Hill City, Kan., was the runner-up.

Judges were David L. Hayes of Buckeye, Ariz., and Bruce Hale of Riverside, Cal.

The 16-dog Arizona Open Shooting Dog Championship was won by Burr Oak’s Bam Bam, Vizsla female owned by Jim Gingrich of Winnebago, Ill., and handled by Brian Gingrich. Named runner-up was C K Post Route Scout, Vizsla male owned by Jim Gingrich and handled by Brian Gingrich.

The Arizona Shooting Dog Championship judges were Bruce Hale and Heather Gast of Great Falls, Mont.
