East Windsor, Conn. — The  Associated Field Trial Clubs of Connecticut ran its spring field trial May 12-13, the oldest field trial in New England. This trial is dedicated to two New England icons, Harry H. Townshend and Bruce Jacobs.

We  thank all who supported this trial; we had very large entries. A big thank you to the professionals: Matt Basilone, John Stolgitis, Mike Tracy and Toby

Tobiassen. Also, a big thank you to all of the amateurs who came from far and near. Thank you Dick Frawley, president of Flaherty Association, for helping with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you to Maria Rispoli for taking care of the running sheets, publishing on multi-media, and judges’ books. Gene Casale, Kevin Stuart and Brian Sanchez, thanks for all of your help. An enormous thank you to all of the judges who had to endure foul weather; your dedication is greatly appreciated.
