Annual Meeting, Steak Fry and Dog of the Year Awards

Association of Michigan Field Trial Clubs

By David A. Fletcher, Secretary | Jun 22, 2020

Morrice, Mich. — The annual meeting, steak fry and awards presentations for the Association of Michigan Field Trial Clubs are scheduled to be held Sunday, July 12, at 11:00 a. m. at the Ionia grounds clubhouse, Ionia, Mich.

The clubhouse is currently locked and will not be open until the corona pandemic regulations are eased, and to date no clear understanding of when that will occur has been given.

A vote of the AMFTC officers and directors was taken by President Jim Cipponeri and myself and has brought forth the following game plan.

Points-keepers in the four categories of the award program will turn in the points for the past events we have staged and the award plaques (nine) are  being made and will be shipped to the winners, likely via UPS. In a normal year, 25 award plaques are presented.

If the clubhouse is not available for the annual meeting and the steak fry, it will be postponed until a suitable date can be found, preferably at the Ionia grounds clubhouse.

If a suitable date cannot be found the annual meeting will be cancelled for 2020, and will resume in 2021. In that case the present officers and directors will remain in office until the 2021 meeting.

Any urgent matters which might concern the lack of an election of 2021 officers and board and any other items should be handled by correspondence with the AMFTC secretary who will bring those matters to the board. Contact me at: Dave Fletcher, AMFTC Secretary, 9517 S. Morrice Rd., Morrice, MI 48857; (517) 625-7030.
