Nemaha City Slicker

Falls City, Neb. — Champion Nemaha City Slicker died in the spring at 15 years of age. He enjoyed his well earned retirement, running loose in the pasture behind the kennel, chasing rabbits and hunting pheasants in South Dakota with my bird hunting buddies.

Slick was a special dog. He placed in 58 trials during his competitive career. He won eight championship titles and eight runner-up championships in both shooting dog and all-age competition.

He was the third generation of champions here at Nemaha Kennels and his sons and grandsons have continued that tradition into the fourth and fifth generations.

As with my other good dogs, Slick took me many places and allowed me to meet new and old friends throughout the country. That is the greatest benefit to owning such a wonderful dog.
