Pinckneyville, Ill. — The revival of the Indiana Open Shooting Dog Classic drew a fine field of 24 entries for the 2019 running at the Pyramid venue near Pinckneyville, Ill.

A seasoned judicial panel — Mike Jackson of Battle Ground, Ind., and William Smith of Moscow, Tenn., — named Chelsea’s Thunder Bolt the winner. The seven-year-old white and liver pointer male is owned by Dr. Tom Jackson of Columbus, Ind., and George Hickox of Bismarck, N. D., and was handled by Shawn Kinkelaar.

Runner-up was Lancelot’s Tall Knight, nine-year-old white and orange pointer male owned by Dr. Richard Steckley of Wichita, Kan., and handled by Chuck Stretz.
