Petersburg, Pa. — The Indiantown gap trials were held at the club grounds near Petersburg, Pa. There were 37 in the Keystone Championship judged by Mike Husenits of West Lebanon, Pa., and Mike Panovski of Cookestown, Ont. They named Tommy and Bonnie Hamilton’s pointer female Miller’s Vanilla Snow champion. The six-year-old pointer female was handled by George Tracy. Runner-up was Thomas Adirondack Turbo, coming four-year-old pointer male owned by Jim and Nadine Thomas of Barneveld, N. Y., and handled by Mike Tracy.

In the Yankee Open Derby Classic, Mike Tracy handled the first and third place winners; respectively, pointer male Cheyenne Jack, owned by Sal Morelli — the 87-year-old patron riding the whole stake — and Armstrong Mountain Dustie, Frank Joyal’s pointer male. Second was Jamie Nee’s pointer male Glassilaun War Paint. Toby Tobiassen was the handler.
