Inola Open All-Age

Inola, Okla. — The Inola Open All-Age and companion Open Derby began October 29 over the McFarlin-Ingersoll and Gene Stout Ranches in Inola, Okla.

Earning first in the Open All-Age (23 entries) was Barshoe Five’n Dimer, white and orange pointer male owned by Oklahomans Bob Gum and Lee R. West and handled by Allen Vincent. Placed second was Westfall’s River Ice, white and black pointer male owned by Brad Calkins of Centennial, Colo., and handled by Andy Daugherty.  Third was Lowrider Frank, white and liver pointer male owned by Dr. Jim Mills and Steve Lightle of Searcy, Ark., and handled by Allen Vincent.

Judges for the Open All-Age were Wes Felt of Kaufman, Tex., and Mike Griffin of Stilwell, Okla.

Awarded first in the Open Derby (10 entries) was Westfall’s Red Man, pointer male owned by Ryan Westfall and handled by Andy Daugherty. Miller’s Hot Rod, pointer male owned by Raines Jordan and handled by Randy Anderson, placed second. Third was Justifier, pointer male owned by Dr. Robert Rankin and handled by Allen Vincent.

Judging the Open Derby were Wes Felt and Dan Wisely of Powderly, Tex.
