John J. Campoli Remembered

By George, Mary & Mike Tracy | Nov 01, 2018

Glenville, Pa. — John J. Campoli, 60, of Annville, Pa.,  passed away on September 28, surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of Susan Campoli. Born in Greensburg, Pa., John was the son of Angelo and Rita Campoli. In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by a daughter, Angela, son-in-law Joel, two grandchildren, Livia and Rylan, two stepsons, Bob and Steve, mother Rita, and brothers Alan and Paul and their families.

After graduating from high school, John was employed by Exxon Mobil where he had a long and respected career as a Corrosion Technologist.

John’s passions were spending time with his grandchildren and traveling the country while competing in amateur field trials. John’s dogs all held the prefix Jaycee. He was sought after as a judge both locally and nationally. His current dogs were pointers Jaycee’s Wild River and Jaycee’s Stoney River.

John’s bird dog family honored him and his love of field trialing at an informal dinner on October 27 at the York Pointer and Setter Club in Rossville, Pa. Rest in peace, John!
