National Amateur Grouse Championship

Meredith, Mich. — The National Amateur Grouse Championship drew a field of 42 competitors — 11 pointers and 31 setters — for the 2018 running at the Gladwin grounds in Meredith, Mich.

Judges  Bill Holtan of Kensal, N. D.,  and Tim Tufts of Orono, Ont., named Nobody’s Shadow the winner. The seven-year-old white and orange setter male is owned and handled by Bob Wheelock of Northville, Mich. Runner-up was All On, two-year-old white and liver pointer female owned and handled by Thor Kain of Carbondale, Pa.
