Oklahoma Open Championship

Inola, Okla. — The Oklahoma Open Championship began October 31 on the McFarlin-Ingersoll and Gene Stout Ranches in Inola, Okla.

Topping a field of 21 entries was Valiant, six-year-old white and liver pointer male owned by Jay McKenzie of Eureka, Kan., and handled by Randy Anderson. No runner-up was named.

The judges were Jim Lawless of Sparta, Ill., and Dickie Sorrell of Hubbard, Tex.
