Purina All-Age Brittany Awards

2021 Purina Open All-Age Brittany Award Winner Ru Jem's Last  Penny, owned by Ruth and Jerry McGee and handled by Tom Tracy, Jr.

Forest Lake, Minn. — The Purina Open All-Age Brittany Award is presented to the top All-Age Brittany in the country placing in one-hour open all-age stakes, run under the Field Dog Stud Book/American Field and/or AKC.

Award points are calculated starting with the National Championship to the beginning of the same event the following year.

Purina  sponsors the Award and an oil painting is presented to the winner during the ABC National All-Age Championships.

This year’s Award winner is ten-year-old Ru Jem's Last Penny, Brittany female by Trademark A T M ex Red Bud Zipper. Penny is owned by Ruth and Jerry McGee  of Steward, Ill., and was handled by Tom Tracy, Jr.

This year the award was based on twenty Open All-Age hour stakes of which Penny placed in four hour stakes that included the ABC National Championship, Illinois Brittany Open All-Age Championship, Greater St. Louis Open All-Age, and Mid-America Championship.

The Purina Amateur All-Age Brittany Award is presented to the top All-Age Brittany in the country placing in one-hour Amateur All-Age stakes run under the Field Dog Stud Book/American Field and or/ AKC. Award points are calculated starting with the National Amateur Championship to the beginning of the same event the following year.

Purina also sponsors this Award and an oil painting which is presented to the winner during the ABC National All-Age Championships.

This year’s Award winner is six-year old Blew Me Away by Spanish Corral's Sundance Kid ex Blew By Yet. "Bud" is owned by Norm and Terry Ahl of Tucson, Ariz., and was handled by Joe Gower.

This year's Aaward was based on nine Amateur All-Age hour stakes of which "Bud" won the ABC National Amateur Championship.
