No. Stonington, R. I. — The Dr. John E. Flaherty Field Trial Clubs Association was formally recognized recently by Connecticut Governor Dannel P.  Malloy with an Official Statement on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary.


On behalf of the State of

Connecticut, I, Dannel P. Malloy,


take great pleasure in congratulating the Dr. John E. Flaherty Field Trial Club’s Association, Inc.,

on celebrating their

75th Anniversary.


Since its founding 75 years ago,

the Flaherty Field Trial Clubs

Association has established

itself as one of the region’s premier field trial destinations.


Field trial is an American tradition

rooted in competition and

environmental conservation.

The Flaherty Field Trial Clubs

Association has exemplified a

proven commitment to teaching and sustaining these values over

the last 75 years.


The State of Connecticut has worked with Flaherty in wildlife management since 1983,

and the Association

continues to be a valued ally in the

Department of Energy and

Environmental Protection’s mission

to protect the lands and natural

resources of Connecticut.


Therefore, I, Dannel P. Malloy,

Governor of the State of Connecticut, in honor of the Association’s 75th

anniversary, do hereby officially

convey honor and recognition

upon the Dr. John E. Flaherty Field Trial Clubs Association, Inc.

in the State of Connecticut.
