Southeastern Quail Championship

By Dr. Ron Deal | Mar 14, 2019

Albany, Ga. — True Confidence, coming ten-year-old white and orange pointer male owned by Frank and Jean LaNasa of Isanti, Minn., and handled by Luke Eisenhart, was named the 2019 Southeastern Quail Champion on March 5. The new champion ran the last morning and coupled a five find effort with a smooth forward all-age ground effort. Runner-up honors went to kennelmate Erin’s Wild Justice, nearly eight-year-old white and liver pointer male owned by Allen R. Linder of Livingston, Tenn. Luke Eisenhart also handled the runner-up.

Judges for the trial were Larron Copeland of Bronwood, Ga., and Kirk Law of Dawson, Ga. Fifty-two entries competed over the grounds of Chickasaw, Abigail, and Ecila Plantations. Quail were abundant.
