Tar Heel Open All-Age Championship

Hoffman, N. C. — Dunn’s Tried’n True bested forty other entries to claim the Tar Heel Open All-Age Championship title. His outstanding ground performance plus three thrilling finds capped four days of running over the Robert Gordon Field Trial Grounds at Hoffman, N. C. He is owned by Will and Rita Dunn  of Lebanon, Ky., and was handled by Luke Eisenhart.

Runner-up honors were bestowed on Erin’s Full Throttle which also had three pieces of bird work and an exceptional ground covering race. He is owned by John and Sue Ivester of Huntersville, N. C., and was handled by Robert Henry.

George Kimbrell of Fort Mill, N. C., and Ray Joye of Marion, S. C., presided.

The Hoffman grounds were in excellent condition, as usual, and quail were plentiful.
