By Jim Atchison | Feb 17, 2021

Dancyville, Tenn. — Twenty-four all-age dogs ran in the West Tennessee trial.

First was Woodville Yukon Cornelius, setter male, owned by Carl Owens of  Awendaw, S. C., and handled by Mark McLean. Second was Lester’s Stem Winder, pointer male, owned and handled by Gary Lester of Gracey, Ky. And third was Mac Golva B, setter male, owned by Dr. Marion Brown of Dayton, Ohio.

Ike Todd and Scott Beeler of Lancaster, Mo., stepped in and judged for the advertised judges.

The trial delayed beginning one day, and the weather got worse and worse, and the Derby was cancelled.
